4月中旬、札幌で経営者交流会を開催する。 目標は100名。昨日現在で前売りチケットは33枚、参加表明をいただいている方は73名で道内17名、道外56名だ。ほぼすべて、私が一人ひとりに声をかけて集めた方々だ。
1月には大崎で79名の経営者に集まっていただいた。 準備期間は1カ月。正直、自信がついた。 「おれってグレイト爺？」
経営者育成研究会を立ち上げ、このコミュニティ構想を多くの経営者に相談してきた。集客の仕組み化を提案してくれる人もいたが、一切聞かなかった。金をかけるより汗をかこうと思ったからだ。
毎日アポを取り、毎日面談し、ひたすら汗をかいた。冷や汗も、あぶら汗も多かったが、新たな出会いがそれを吹き飛ばしてくれた。気づけば、もう3年間、毎週40件のオンラインミーティングを続けている。今のところ、私のようなやり方で毎月50件以上の新規面談をこなしている人には会っていない。いつか、そんな人に出会えることを期待している。
私はどこにでもいる62歳の爺だ。 屁もこけば尻もかく。 恥をかき、頭もかく。 かくかくしかじか、精一杯汗をかいて今に至る。
経営者育成研究会を始めたのは2021年9月。まだ3年半にも満たない。経営者を見つけては、なりふり構わず突撃し、一人ひとりに会い続けている。オンラインではあるが、リアルに匹敵する熱量で、毎日全力投球してきた。そのせいか、最近右腕の上がりが悪い。マウスのクリックのしすぎで、もしかしたら60肩かもしれない。
さて、本題に入ろう。4月の経営者交流会は、道内外から100名の経営者を札幌に集め、新たな流れを生み出すイベントにしたい。緊迫する世界情勢や閉塞感漂う日本を、心ある経営者が変えていくムーブメントを起こしたい。集まるのは、私が直接声をかけた素晴らしい経営者ばかりだ。
「ん？？ まだ話が来てないぞ！」
そう思ったあなた。 ご心配には及ばない。 ひと月以内に、私からメッセンジャーが届くはずだ。 その時には、「待ってました！」と返事してほしい。 私はこうお願いする。
「ぜひ、イベントに参加してほしい！」

「OK牧場！」 Challenge: Sapporo 100-Person Networking Event
In mid-April, I will be hosting a networking event for entrepreneurs in Sapporo. The goal is to gather 100 attendees. As of yesterday, 33 advance tickets have been sold, with confirmed attendees including 17 from Hokkaido and 56 from outside the region. Nearly all of them are people I personally reached out to one by one.
In January, I managed to bring together 79 entrepreneurs in Ōsaki. The preparation time was just one month. Honestly, I gained confidence. "Am I a great old man or what?"
Since launching the Entrepreneur Development Research Group, I’ve shared this community vision with many entrepreneurs. Some suggested systematizing the recruitment process, but I ignored them all. I believed in sweating it out rather than throwing money at it.
Every day, I set up appointments. Every day, I have meetings. I kept working hard, sweating both cold and oily sweat. But every new encounter swept away the exhaustion. Before I knew it, I had spent three years holding 40 online meetings per week. So far, I haven’t met anyone else who can handle more than 50 new meetings a month like I do. I hope one day to meet such a person.
I’m just an ordinary 62-year-old man. I fart, scratch my butt, make mistakes, and scratch my head in embarrassment. With all that said and done, I have sweated my way to where I am now.
I started this initiative in September 2021. It’s been less than three and a half years. I’ve been relentlessly searching for entrepreneurs, meeting them one by one without hesitation. Although the meetings are online, I bring the same energy as if they were in person, pouring my heart and soul into each conversation. Perhaps because of that, my right arm has started to stiffen lately. Too much mouse-clicking—maybe I’ve developed a “60-year-old shoulder” from overuse.
Now, let’s get to the main point. The April networking event will bring 100 entrepreneurs to Sapporo, both from within and outside the region. It will be an event that sparks a new wave of change. In these times of global tension and stagnation in Japan, we need passionate entrepreneurs to ignite a movement. The attendees will all be outstanding business leaders whom I’ve personally invited.
"Huh? I haven’t received an invitation yet!"
